Advising is one of the most important services provided by the CEE department. The departmental advisors offer students guidance about both, Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering majors. This includes academic planning, degree requirements, course prerequisites, course descriptions, career planning, and elective selections.
Ms. Lilian Sanchez Monterde, the undergraduate academic advisor who work with CEE students, also assists students with administrative procedures such as registration, change of major, course equivalences and graduation.
To make an appointment with an advisor, please call the Engineering Advising Center at (305) 348-0273. Current Civil and Environmental engineering students can also make an appointment through their my_eAdvisor dashboards accessed through my.fiu.edu.
