Mr. Saman Farhangdoust has two masters’ degrees in Mechanical and Civil Engineering and is a PhD candidate in Structural Engineering and Mechanics at FIU. He is able to combine his interdisciplinary knowledge with energy and creativity to provide novel solutions to shortcomings for making a positive impact on society. In 2021, FIU has nominated Saman as “the Selected University Nominee” among all graduate students for the Schmidt Science Fellowship to highlight the impact of his multidisciplinary achievements.
