The ASCE FIU Student chapter attended this year’s Southeast Student Symposium in Jacksonville, Florida. All of our members were proud to have represented FIU by putting our academic concepts to the ultimate test against 19 universities across Florida, Georgia, and Puerto Rico. Students that participated came back with satisfaction for being able to compete, network with professionals and other students, as well as memories of a great experience. All of the hard work and commitment throughout the year was deemed successful, bringing home 13 awards in a variety of competitions. We competed in every single competition for the first time, and for the first time in 15 years we placed 3rd overall
