Shelley Ortiz, P.E., earned her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Florida International University in 2000. Over the past two decades, she has worked extensively in the transportation sector, managing a wide range of highway design projects across Florida, primarily in South Florida, that include safety, rehabilitation, and major reconstruction initiatives. Throughout her career, Shelley has cultivated a reputation as a resourceful and effective manager who consistently goes above and beyond to fulfill project goals and exceed client expectations.

Shelley is the President and Co-Founder of Highway Studio, LLC, a specialized highway design firm that provides high-quality design and management services. In addition, she chairs the ACEC FDOT District 6 Liaison Committee, promoting collaboration among engineering professionals and transportation agencies. Shelley’s unwavering commitment to delivering safe, efficient, and innovative transportation solutions underscores her dedication to serving the people of Florida.
