Hydrology & Hydraulics (H&H)
- Build, calibrate, and run HEC-HMS (event + continuous) models
- Develop HEC-RAS 1D/2D models for channels, floodplains, and structures
- Prepare profiles, inundation maps, and mitigation concepts
- Conduct pre/post development stormwater analysis (detention, retention, conveyance)
- Produce sealed calculations, plans, and design reports
Stormwater & Water Quality
- Develop / QA PCSWMM / EPA SWMM collection system models (separate & combined systems)
- Represent LID/GI and simulate continuous system performance
- Support MS4/NPDES compliance, SWMP elements
- Perform TMDL/WLA evaluations and BMP screening/selection
- Apply EFDC/EFDC+ (or equivalents) for watershed/receiving-water assessments
CFD & Hydraulic Structures
- Conduct CFD studies using OpenFOAM or Ansys Fluent/CFX
- Analyze spillways, stilling basins, dropshafts, outfalls, junctions, and energy dissipation
- Validate CFD models with HEC-RAS or physical data
Design, Documentation & Permitting
- Prepare stormwater management plans, drainage reports, erosion & sediment control plans
- Produce opinions of probable cost, bid documents, specifications
- Coordinate FEMA floodplain (CLOMR/LOMR) studies
- Collaborate across Civil 3D, GIS, geotechnical, survey, environmental, and construction teams
Project Management & Leadership
- Act as day-to-day technical lead
