The ASCE FIU student chapter made history at the ASCE Southeast Student Symposium 2025 in Athens, Georgia, bringing home multiple top awards and demonstrating their engineering excellence across various disciplines. Competing against leading engineering students from the Southeast, our team proudly showcased their skills in design, construction, sustainability, transportation, and surveying.

Outstanding Achievements

Our team participated in 18 competitions, pushing our limits and achieving remarkable success. Here are some of our top accomplishments:

🏆 1st Place – Southeast Design Build
👕 1st Place – T-Shirt Competition (Fourth consecutive win!)
 🏗 2nd Place – Steel Bridge Aesthetics (A historic first for FIU!)
🌊 2nd Place – Muddy Waters
🥈 2nd Place – Concrete Canoe Men’s Sprint
🥉 3rd Place – Concrete Canoe Women’s Sprint
🌉 3rd Place – 3D Printed Bridge

Beyond these awards, the symposium fostered a strong sense of teamwork and camaraderie among our members, reinforcing that ASCE FIU is more than just an organization—it’s a family.
